Bubba Sharp

Along the lines of Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, Bill Engvall and Larry The Cable Guy " The Blue Color Comedy Team, you will find this very funny man who calls himself a "no color comedian" Bubba was born in the mid west to two hillbilly parents who came from the hollers. A lot of the stories that Bubba tells aren't to off the truth. He had a lot crazy hill country kinfolk to draw from. For the past twenty five years he has made Texas his home where he has met a few more folks just left of center.

The thing that amazes most people about his comedy is his ability to go completely off the wall at a rapid rate of speed just like Robin Williams.  He tries to keep his shows family clean but there are times he can go a little towards a PG rating. His whit is outstanding and he really is a true standup comedian too. He says he is a mix between a standup comedian and a dress up comedian.

In the seventies he worked with a super comedy team from the Grand Ole Opry..."Lonzo & Oscar" and it was while traveling with them that he picked up the gift of comedy lock stock and barrel. He went on to work with such greats as Homer & Jethro, Lighting Chance and Jerry Clower. He has traveled the United States bringing houses down at every stop.

He is not only a comedian but a book and song writer as well.  He is presently working on his new book entitled " Bubba's Kinfolks And Then Some". He also has written some really crazy songs and often on a gig where he performs in the middle of a music show he will sing a tune or two.

He is a graduate of Geneva College and Lakewood Bible Institute. He has a BA in Business Administration and a Degree in Theology. He has had several executive management jobs but the one he like the most was that of  a Newspaper Editor. Of course his favorite job of all jobs is what he is doing now "making people laugh"
